Underground Tanks:

Tank Installation - stage 1

Love propane, but hate the tank in your yard? Bury it!

Environmentally safe underground propane tanks provide homeowners with an option to having the tank sitting in the open. Propane tanks are constructed of heavy steel and are specially painted with a mastic coating to prevent corrosion. Environmentally friendly and requiring no maintenance, a propane tank will typically last for 30 to 40 years.

Underground Tank Cover

Underground tanks are available in sizes ranging from 120 to 1,000 gallons, sized to meet your needs. Once the tank is buried only a small dome will be visible above the ground. The dome houses valves, gauges, and regulators, allowing for easy servicing and refilling. Even large-capacity tanks can be installed with minimal visual intrusion, yet still providing the clean, efficient comfort of propane.

Propane tank Is your soil too rocky to bury a tank? There are many ways to landscape around a tank to make it “disappear”. As long as the driver has access to fill the tank, a few well placed scrubs or privacy fence can conceal the tank from view.

Whether it is above or below ground ServiGas Propane takes great pride in the safety and appearance of our propane tanks. Each tank is pressure tested prior to installation and regularly inspected by our delivery personnel.
